Clearing, grading, levelling, drainage, and fill — getting your lot ready for foundation, landscape, or construction work. Real Kubota fleet, licensed operators, full insurance.
South Delta Groundworks does full site preparation across the Lower Mainland. If you've got a residential lot, a tear-down site, or a property that needs to be ready for foundation work, landscaping, or new construction, we handle the prep end-to-end. Clearing, grading, levelling, drainage, and fill — one crew, one phone call.
A typical site prep job runs in this order: brush and debris clearing, rough grade and levelling, drainage planning and trenching where needed, fill placement (topsoil, gravel, or pit-run as the job calls for), and finish grade. We adapt the order to your situation. For tear-down sites we coordinate spoil removal alongside the prep work.
Site prep typically uses our Kubota SVL75-2 or SVL90-2 skid steers for the heavy work, the KX40-4 mini excavator for trenching and finish digging, and our dump trucks for spoil removal and material delivery. One job, one crew, one number to call.

Depends on lot size and starting condition. A standard residential lot often runs 1–3 days. Larger or more complex sites — heavy brush, drainage issues, fill needs — take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline on the quote.
Yes. We trench and rough in drainage as part of site prep — French drains, swales, drainage tile. For specialized engineered drainage we'll work alongside whoever's specced it.
Yes. Topsoil, sand, gravel, pit-run — whatever the job needs, delivered on the same booking. Saves you a separate delivery.
Yes. Our own dump trucks haul off material — brush, rubble, dirt, whatever the site is producing. No third-party hauler needed.
Excavation is one part of site prep. Site prep is the broader job — clearing, grading, drainage, and fill — that gets the lot ready for next steps. We do both, often together.
