South Delta Groundworks rents out our own Kubota equipment fleet across the Lower Mainland. You can book a machine with one of our licensed operators (we send the crew), or take a self-operated rental and run the machine yourself. Our rentals cover most residential and small commercial groundwork — driveway prep, landscape grading, brush clearing, demo support, light excavation, material handling, and trenching. With-operator bookings are great for one-off jobs where you don't have your own crew. Self-operated rentals work for contractors and experienced operators who already know the machine.

For self-operated rentals you need real experience with skid steers or mini excavators — we'll ask. If you're not sure, book it with our operator instead. Same machine, fewer headaches, no liability worries.
We carry insurance on the equipment, but for self-operated rentals you're responsible for damage on the job. We walk through the machine with you on delivery — any issues go on the inspection sheet.
Skid steers and mini excavators run fine in most weather. If conditions are unsafe (saturated lots, frozen ground), we'll work with you on rescheduling. We'd rather move a booking than damage your site or our machine.
