| South Delta Groundworks
3/4 minus, aggregates, road base, pit-run, pea gravel — delivered across the Lower Mainland. Single yard or multi-truck loads. Same-week delivery from Delta, Surrey, Vancouver, and Richmond.
South Delta Groundworks delivers gravel and aggregate across the Lower Mainland. Driveway gravel (3/4 minus, road base, pit-run), drainage gravel (round aggregates, perimeter aggregates), decorative gravel (pea gravel, river rock), and crushed aggregate for compaction. Single yard for a small repair or 20+ yards for full driveway work.
We supply and deliver the standard gravel grades used across BC residential and small-commercial work. 3/4 minus crushed gravel for driveways and base prep, road base (also called 'crushed' or 'navy jack-base mix') for compaction layers, pit-run for raising grade and rough fill, aggregates for French drains and perimeter drainage, pea gravel for decorative applications and bedding. Standard truck loads run 5–10 cubic yards; larger jobs use multiple trucks back-to-back.
Delivery via our dump trucks — sized to your access. For tight residential driveways we use smaller trucks. For commercial sites with weight limits or specific dump locations, tell us the constraint and we'll match the right truck. Drop-and-spread service available with our Kubota skid steer.

Most residential driveways use 3/4 minus crushed gravel as the surface layer over a road-base compacted base. Decorative driveways use pea gravel or river rock over a stabilized base. Tell us the situation and we'll recommend the right grade and depth.
Rule of thumb: a 200 sq ft driveway at 4" depth needs about 2.5 cubic yards of surface gravel plus 2.5 yards of base. We help estimate on the call.
Round, washed gravel (typically 3/4" or 1.5") used in French drains, perimeter drains, septic fields, and landscape drainage. The round shape lets water flow through. We supply both 3/4" and 1.5" depending on what your drain spec calls for.
Yes. Pit-run (raw, unscreened gravel) is good for raising grade, rough fill, and compaction layers under driveways. Cheaper than processed gravel — call us for current pricing.
Yes. Just tell us about access constraints — gate codes, weight limits, low overhangs — when you book. We match truck size and time to the constraint.
